The Box Office and main Music Hall entrance are located at 1056 6th Ave, 92101.
The Voodoo Room is located at 1055 5th Ave, 92101.
For Music Hall Pre-Parties, The Salvation Bar entrance is located next to the box office on 6th Ave.
We have implemented the following bag policy: we will allow clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC tote bags no larger than 12"x6"x12" and/or small clutch bags (4.5"x6.5" - do not need to be clear). If your bag does not meet these requirements, you will be asked to return them to your car and get in line again.
The Box Office will only be open two hours before door time on show nights.
The box office closes 30 minutes after the headliner begins their set onstage (excluding club nights).

For an all-ages show, guests of all ages are welcome with an admission ticket. Children age 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Age restricted shows will be notated when purchasing tickets. Please review or inquire about any age restrictions prior to purchasing tickets.

For select shows, you can purchase a Fast Lane priority entry pass which grants you entry into the venue before general admission ticket holders once doors officially open. You can also upgrade your existing ticket by adding a VIP Table which also includes priority entry. Check out our Upgrades tab for more info.
Unfortunately, we do not allow any re-entry to shows.
The Music Hall is General Admission Standing Room Only. We are built for dancing and rocking out! That means there is no seat to go along with your ticket despite those pesky little numbers that may be printed on it.
For those of you looking to upgrade your experience, we do have some VIP Seating options including loge seating and table seating. Loge seats are fold down stadium style seating located on the balcony. Tables include 4 stools and are located in either wing of the balcony. Will call/guest list tickets can be picked up on day of show at the Box Office which opens 2 hours prior to door times. The original ticket purchaser or guest list name must have a valid physical government-issued photo ID to claim their tickets. The box office closes 30 minutes after the headliner begins their set onstage (excluding club nights).
Tickets for cancelled shows can be refunded at the point of purchase. If you purchased tickets online through LiveNation.com or Ticketmaster.com, your refund will automatically be processed in 3-5 business days.
Voodoo Room entrance is on the 5th Ave side of the property underneath the marquee.
If you input 1055 5th Ave, San Diego, CA 92101 into your mapping program, it will take you right to the Voodoo Room entrance.
We encourage you to review our safety and security information below prior to arriving at the venue.
- Please arrive early to the venue to allow enough time for you and your guests to move through the queue and enter the venue.
- Prior to entering the venue, guests will be searched (wand or walk through metal detection and/or pat-downs) to ensure that none of the restricted items enters the building.
- We suggest you leave valuable and unnecessary items at home.
- You may be asked to empty your pockets of all items so that they can be examined.
- All alcohol and narcotic laws will be strictly enforced.
- The following bag policy is in place:
- Bags up to 12" x 6" x 12" are allowed in the venue. All bags will be searched prior to entry. Bags that are not clear will be subject to additional search.

Restricted Items:
(Keep in mind priority number 1 is to HAVE FUN! Just please do it without the items listed below)
- No guns, knives, weapons, pepper spray, projectiles of any kind, or any other item that could be used to inflict harm.
- Replicas of weapons also are NOT permitted
- No drugs or drug paraphernalia, illegal substances of any kind
- No personal video cameras, Go-Pros, selfie sticks, drones, masks or laser pointers.
- No professional audio, video, or audio recording equipment - (including detachable lenses, tripods, zooms or commercial use rigs)
- No outside food & beverage allowed
- No jewelry or clothing that could inflict harm
- No bags will be allowed if outside of the bag policy
- No stuffed animals or toys of any kind
- This list of prohibited items is subject to change at the discretion of venue management
Zero Tolerance For Drug Use or Possession
The use or possession of any illegal drugs will not be tolerated anywhere inside or outside the venue. Security personnel and narcotics officers will be working and enforcing all drug related laws. Do not bring any illegal substances to the event as violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. If you are found impaired at the door, security will not allow you to enter the venue. Event staff reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone. Please come with a smile and be prepared to enjoy a fun filled night of music and dancing.
Safety and Medical
Live Nation is dedicated to providing a safe environment. Public and private security will be present throughout the entire event. The Security Staff will be available to assist your needs including any medical requests.
For select shows join us at The Salvation Bar one hour before door time for the official pre-party where we serve our full food & drink menu.
During the show, food can also be ordered from any of our amazing bartenders. Digital menus are displayed behind the bar for your convenience.

We highly recommend only purchasing your event tickets online from Live Nation or Ticketmaster if you are unable to purchase directly from our Box Office. If you purchase tickets from third party sites such as StubHub, VividSeats, eBay or similar, we cannot guarantee the authenticity of the ticket and you assume full responsibility for your purchase making decisions.
We are unable to validate, reprint or refund tickets purchased from unauthorized resale sites. While we try our best to help troubleshoot any issues, without the original ticket purchaser on site we cannot access any account information that relates to the event.

We’re cashless! All concession, bar and ticket sales, once in the venue, will only accept credit or debit cards and/or mobile pay (such as Apple Pay or Google Pay). Cashless payments are encouraged for ticket purchases at the box office. Cash to card conversion will be available inside the venue, dollar for dollar, without any service fees.
House of Blues gift cards can be used in-venue at Gear Shops, Restaurant/Bar, and Music Hall for food and beverages, but not for ticket purchases. This card does not permit entry to any club's Music Hall, concert performances, Foundation Room® or backstage. This card may not be used in connection with any marketing, advertising or premotion activities without the prior written approval of House of Blues and may not be sold other than through. House of Blues authorized channels. House of Blues reserves the right to cancel this card if it believes the card was obtained through fraudulent or unauthorized means. Unused card balances are not transferable. This card cannot be redeemed for cash or credit unless required by law. This card cannot be replaced if lost or stolen and House of Blues is not responsible for any damage or loss resulting from unauthorized use.
